About EastieWalks

Hello and welcome to EastieWalks. After noticing many new neighbors moving to the East
Boston area – without enough pet care services to support them – we saw the need for a dog
walking and pet care company in the community. Nelson, our founder, completed his degree in
veterinary medicine in Venezuela, and sought to apply his knowledge and skills in animal health
and development to EastieWalks. We were one of the first companies in Eastie, and are
committed to providing high quality and compassionate services to keep your pets happy and healthy. This community is our home – we want to support and give back to the place that has given us so much. We look forward to welcoming you to our EastieWalks family.

Our EastieWalks team

I’m Nelson, an enthusiastic animal lover with over ten years’ experience working closely with
pets. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles, and parrots. I formed close bonds with
my animals, compelling me to complete my degree in veterinary medicine in my home country
of Venezuela. There, I founded my own veterinary clinic, working as the lead Vet and surgeon.
Eventually, I decided to make the move to East Boston where I founded Eatiewalks.

I’m Monica, I am always moving and on the go - I love to walk the puppies of East Boston. I
was born and raised in Caracas, where I study electrical engineering and helped to build the
electrical grid. All my life, my family has owned cats, my sister even channeled our love for
animals into a veterinary medicine degree, which eventually connected me to Nelson. I am long
time East Boston resident and eager to meet your pet.

I’m Orlando, I am very active and an outdoor enthusiast. I studied tax administration in
Venezuela, where I worked in distribution and logistics for a delivery company, before moving to
Argentina. There, I worked at the RMV. But dog walking is my ideal job, because it allows me to
combine my passion for the outdoors with my love of animals. I am working on my english and
look forward to speaking with you.

I’m Lupe. I am a huge animal lover! I studied accounting in Venezuela, working in administration
for an agricultural company for several years before moving to East Boston. I have raised dogs
my whole life, and miss having my own pets. And in my job, I enjoy helping pet owners balance
their work and social lives with the responsibilities of owning a pup. I am working on my english
and look forward to speaking with you.
